Police said Robert Crawford had located his wife\u2019s body in the early hours before calling emergency services.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters, Marchesini was asked<\/p>\n

about the lawnmower.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny situation like that, police are going to undertake further investigation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s been extensive forensic testing \u2026 as a result of that we can\u2019t, at this stage, definitively determine how [Frances Crawford] has come to be at the bottom of that retaining wall.\u201d<\/p>\n

There were no domestic violence orders in place when Frances Crawford died but police had attended the property in July 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was in regards to a call for service in regards to domestic and family violence,\u201d Marchesini said.<\/p>\n

Police said Crawford\u2019s family were \u201clooking for answers\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
